Sooo, i just started playing in Pokerstars, MTTs only. And i have an issue... SO MANY PPL IN THERE! I am not used to playing against 1-4K players and it is a pain in the ass to make a good cash. Only top 15 or stg get paid fine with the top top getting huge sums. So, my Q is how often should expect to cash nice - top 20... I can only imagine how much luck i should have to reach a FT and i was kinda used to it in smaller fields - 300-400 plyrs on Cake. I don't know if i do stg wrong or i am just unlucky (i think it is d latter but still...) so if one of you who have played many of those can tell me stg like a % for how much u cash big and what % u don't do shit and stuff I can kinda get a feeling for what is normal and what is not in such huge fields. Thx.

Why not just stick with the 180 Mans if you don't have the nerve/BR to play Mass MTT?

MTTs unfortunately are pretty grueling and u can go on hundereds and hundreds mtts worth dry stretches, especially when youre just a beginner.
If you ask me it is probably better to play sattelites to bigger tournaments where the fields are smaller and your edge is bigger. |

I am trying to establish my game in these donkaments. I hate sngs.I just subscribed for pokerpwnage and i wann pawn these motherfuckers :D! The site is sooo sweet and i wanna move up the limits but it seems like a huge marathon, damn it. How many MTTs in a row have you had the most without any nice cash? In Cake i cannot incorporate the learned things as much cause plyrs don't know where d fold button is and i just have to wait for hands. I almost never ever steal, they don't fold :D. |
