Swings at Micro?

us microlimiters have a lot of leaks, its hard to identify them, but just keep playing your game. Maybe reduce number of tables if you must but try to let not swings move your mood to much. Just keep putting up hands and you'll eventually play solid

Yes. You can even get a breakeven stretch of 15k hands once in a while. Most people will tell you thats its impossible that nl10 is ez and that they beat it with 10 ptbb but thats idiotic.

You still SHOULD ALWAYS go over your hands and be critical abou what is a bad beat or a cooler and what its bad play tough.

This is rubbish. Variance doesn't select higher limit players, it targets everybody who puts in enough hands.

That's not to say that if you are good you won't beat the limit. The fact of the matter is people are simply worse players at micros and if you are decent you will have a big edge over them.

You can definitely have swings this big at nl10, that said you have to be really cynical of your own play. When you've jumped 5-6 levels and put in 300k hands you're in a much better position to analyze your own play than if you're still at nl10, so take care to continue plugging leaks eve if you are getting bad-beated and coolered.

the higher your ``true winrate`` the less swings like this you would have in theory but certainly even the best players can have 10 or 20 bi swings and not be able to `skill their way out of it```but if its something you find is happening every 25k hands randomly losing 10bi then you have a problem.

yeah and what everyone else is saying, definitely never get into a mood that òh i am better than these guys wtf` or `i am fated to have bad luck and mostly breakeven longterm` always work on improving and it will come gradually

you're probably making mistakes and if this is your first tough downswing then there's probably some tilt in there even if you don't think so. even if you were playing 100% perfect this could just be one of the insane downswings that hit us now and then where no amount of good play or discipline will win you money.

theres definitely tilt in there but at most 2 or 3 buyins total where I look up the guy with third pair just to see what he has or something. Upon reviewing my hands I'm preeeetty sure 90% of my stack offs are coolers vs the respective 80vpvip fishes. I'll definitely post hands where I'm not sure if I should've stacked off or not. well it's possible, but it depends on what your normal winrate at 10nl is

for me I win 10+ptbb/100 at 10nl, so having a 10bi swing would be a very rare occurance

remember, the lower your true winrate, the more likely you will be losing over a given sample due to variance.

It should occur a lot less than on higher tables, but only assuming that your edge is significantly high. But less doesnt equal no, so ofc it is possible, even though a more unlikely than on higher stakes where your edge is lower.
