just finished all 3 seasons of Dexter. in a week. fucking phenomenal show, season 2 was the most amazing thing ever.

need to download more shows! what would I like?

Some opinions:

dexter (perfect)

boston legal (small doses, mainly a fan of the character Alan Shure)

house (house/wilson is the best combo ever, and houses one liners are great. dont like how structured the show is though, it's done by formula. it's boring whenever house isn't on screen too, so I guess I'm more a fan of the character)

lost (stopped watching after season 2. is it worth picking up again? apparently they're travelling in time now... wtf?)

prison break (never watched a single episode. not too intrigued... is it good?)

Oz (heard it's great, been meaning to check it out)

nip/tuck (if any show has any elements similar to this show i'm not interested)

Scrubs (2nd favorite show, but looking for something more serious)

prison break is really good for at least the first season.

weeds in really good for 2 seasons.

californication is good (as Red9 says).

damages season 1 was really good, season 2 good.

heroes first season.

fringe (1 season kept getting better and better).

dollhouse (got better after the first few episodes)

legend of the seeker, still in first season. fantasy / lord of the rings type tv show.

death note. great anime (first i'd ever seen).

Alias: once you get past the first season it's one of the best shows out there. Best part is that it isn't afraid to totally mix things up when it's getting stale. Also really sick storyline.

Six Feet Under: best drama ever on TV, bit depressing at times though.

Oz: Awesome show about life in an experimental prison unit. Good drama but sometimes needlessly violent and a HUGE downer. Still insanely good though.

Prison BReak is v good. One of my favorite shows. Season 1 is phonomenal, so ingenious the writing and directing. Season 2 is also very good. Season 3 is still good but is a little absrud. Season 4 is pretty absurd. The acting and character development is good, but the plot is over the top. I am addicted to this show, a lot of times i watch 1 ep or a show and am done. This one i just keep watching and watching. So sick.

24 is pretty good, lots of seasons too. Show doesn't stand out that much these days, but first few seaons (first 4?) were very good. 30 Rock is awesome, must watch imo. The Office is great.

i would recommend

1st and 2nd season of Weeds.

1st season of 24

Entourage and Californication is both a must, a bit overrated but still good.

Don't bother watching Prison Break from season 3 and up. Stick to the first two seasons

Lot's of shows that is good from the start and decline after a couple of seasons
