Yeah went on something like a 32 buyin upswing in the last 15k hands at 100nl or so, still didn't play anywhere near my best, often times just slung money in without thinking cause $100 is hard to care about, often assumed that some people were trying to outplay me when they probably weren't, value cut myself a shitton when a lot of the players at those stakes don't make calldowns in spots that midstakes/higher stakes players would, infact a lot of the players there seem backwards in the spots with which they bluff, calldown etc and way overvalue absolute handstrength over relative hand strength. Anyway, pretty sure my fold blinds to steal stats are lower than like 90% of regulars in 6max games.

Dead Words Speak is one of the worst Doom Metal albums I have ever heard. I remember being so shocked at how shallow and contrived everything was on that album.

I hadn't checked out the lyrics before, I guess it does sound a bit dumb, but musically it all sounds good. I don't put a great deal of emphasis on the lyrics anyway, there are tons of bands I listen to where the lyrics don't even make sense or they're just meaningless crap, but I still enjoy listening. How many bands even have lyrics that are deep and make you think anyway? Not very many in my experience

i thought angels and demons was pretty good... never read any of the books tho. friend who had read it, hated it.

agreed. I totally prefer a song that sounds good but has stupid lyrics over a song that has great lyrics but sounds like shit.

I don't know, it's just that Doom Metal is supposed to be a very introverted type of music that makes you feel, not think, so I tend to care about the lyrics and the intention more than for other types of music. The music from Doom:VS is extremely generic, just like the lyrics. I read an interview about him where he basically stated that his creative process was "making a riff and basing the song on it" ... rinse & repeat for all albums.

But yeah, if you can dig it more power to you.
