So there is a guy i play with every day on cake who is 100% straightforward no range balancing etc. What he has is at all times 100% transparent to me.

Has someone ever calculated how deep i need to be to call with 54s or 56os or anything like that? It's insanely easy to figure with a set because you can only hit one hand that you want to continue with postflop. If someone can show me a site where they show the likelihood of flopping all of those types of hands I'll make a really good post with my results.

i guess this is already something you know, but i mean.. if he 3bets too small, or you know he bets way too small postflop (particularly in 3bet pots) thats way more incentive to play against him, hopefully in position but i mean..

if hes going to blow you off your draws or force you to stackoff it shouldnt really be a type of hand you want to play regardless imo?

+ its really super confusing to calculate that kind of odds so i would rather just eyeball it and say "well okay this guy doesnt know how to betsize so i'll own him for it" since its not really about the flop with this type of hand imo, its about being able to see 4 or 5 cards for a reasonable price?

+added bonus if he calls too much after you hit, yeah?

just trying to put in some useful input, im sorry if its all stuff you already thought about T_T

how he bets postflop has little to no relevance to what i want to calculate. Obviously if we are 2bi deep and he 3bets i call with any2 almost. I don't want to "eyeball" it either, i want to know exactly my equity i can push with every hand in this situation

i mean i'm gonna calculate everything with the assumption that i will win his entire stack at first and then from there i can deduce from my estimations how often i'll actually get all of that and have a really really good idea of how often i can be playing said hands vs this transparent type of player.

ah u mean ur implied odds? well whatever odds u use normally for fish, against regs i like to 1.5x it

today i got 3bet in ep by a reg and was almost very very sure he had a stack off hand with 1/17 odds. he psb cbet and i called with a gutshot which i hit on the turn. he bet called raise but didnt stack off... so moral is: they will fold and dont play for stacks

i play fr tho p

ok, that's perfect and it has a lot of the math that i needed to do already done so this is actually really easy.

this

The math is good to evaluate plays after hands take place but can't really do too specific of calculations while multitabling.

If this reg is really that transparent to you then you can call SCs not just to flop and stack him but also to shit on him since you know when he is folding
