I've finally managed to get the FTP client to look better than ass so I'm thinking of moving my roll over for the 100% deposit bonus and rakeback.
I'm sitting just over $500 which is pretty sweet :D
From what I understand I'd need 8300 FTPs to clear the bonus but I've also been told that the bonus is deducted from the calculation of rakeback until it's cleared. Can anyone explain to me how the calculation works as I'm a little fuzzy on it.
Also if anyone wants to let me know what NL25 is like on FTP vs Stars I'd appreciate it. Also funny pictures are welcome.

Well. Your rakeback is calculated as MGR (monthly generated rake) * 0,27 (your rakeback %)
When you get bonus, they deduct bonus x from MGR.
From that it is pretty simple. You'll lose 27 % rakeback of that 500 bonusdollars; 135 that is.
Im not sure how much you need to rake to get that 500, but let's say 1500 dollars. Then you get 500 bonus + MGR*0,27 = 500 + (1500-500)*0,27 = 500+270 = 770

I deposited the full bonus and it took me a little over a month to clear it all playing nl25 about 3-4 hours a day. I think that nl25 on FTP is easier to beat than on stars, alot more bad play, just watch out for the coolers. |

How many tables BIGlou83? Or how many hands did you play to clear the bonus at 25NL? |

theres nothing different about the games, other than perhaps FTP players might be a bit worse since stars has a stronger community of poker players. Dont be shocked at all the coolers and 1-3 outers that beat you. It really is quite alarming. I'm still running almost 50% below expectation and thats only postflop hands, nevermind the donks who called with trash to flop bullshit 2 pairs.
If you're a mass-table grinder I dont think you'll like ftp that much. They limit you to 16 tables for starters, there are no good multi-table tools, and the FTP software is just a joke compared to stars overall. The rakeback is hard to ignore but I still keep a roll on stars solely for the purpose of just playing there. I seem to do better and enjoy myself more on stars regardless of bonus monies. |
