Can somebody explain this to me:

All signs are pointing that I'm not good enough to beat NL200, but I don't actually believe that? This is my fourth failed shot, and I think I've had only 2 winning sessions over 11k hands.

Here's lifetime:

There's no way I'm this bad? Anyways, gotta go back to grinding NL100 again.

Yeah but like, amidst a downswing, you typically have a few winning sessions, just mostly bigger losing sessions.

I have no winning sessions.

i think it's a combination of running/playing bad.

According to your showdown looks like your running like shit.

grind more. 5k is like 2 days if you're putting in semidecent volume.

At least when I was trying to moving up at the husngs, I found that when I ran into a wall of variance, I would just lifenit up and play my main stakes for longer. Don't take your shot right when you have enough buyins, bumhunt. 1-table the absolute best table you can find and ease into your new stake. Obv jumping right in works too but this is can't be a bad failsafe if you're running bad. Then you're not pressured into needing to win at the new stake, you can better objectively criticize your play, etc etc.

easy to be "that bad," even if you're smart. think about it this way...

suppose your maximum sustainable winrate, when you are playing your absolute best (e.g. 1-tabling with extreme focus and confidence), is 3 PTBB/100, which is a solid winrate.

now suppose you don't always play your best, so when you grind you tend to make bad calls (feeling "committed," not wanting to "be exploitable," etc) for the amount of 1 buyin per 5k hands on average, which is extremely easy to do. now your winrate is 2 PTBB/100.

furthermore, suppose you tilt off 1 buyin per 5k hands on average, just getting frustrated and either making a hopeless bluff or 3betting a few hands when you shouldn't, etc. somehow, via some form of tilting, you are leaking off 1 buyin per 5k hands. again, this is extremely easy to do. now your winrate is down to 1 PTBB/100.

finally, suppose you tend to lose value against fish on a fairly regular basis, playing your hands too aggressively against them and trying far too hard to win stacks rather than win additional bets, which is a very common mistake of regulars at your level. if this amounts to 1 buyin of missed value every 5k hands, then you aren't even a winner at your stakes.

it's VERY easy to compile a list of seemingly tiny leaks, that add up VERY quickly, and chip off your entire winrate despite being a smart and capable individual.

not everyone who knows how to correctly formulate poker strategies actually has the ability to play well in every single hand.

experience helps a lot. excessive bankroll helps a lot too. finally, a good coach is invaluable. you'll get there, but as i (hopefully effectively) have outlined, it's very easy to become a loser despite having the ability to kill the game when playing 100%

Well put myth. I was just gonna say "you are that bad"

Mostly due to lack of experience. it's not that you don't know a lot, it's just that you need more experience to learn how to play A game all the time. Plus, there's plenty you don't know and lots of difference between NL200 and NL100 regs. Most of the good NL100 regs are mediocre NL200 regs at best. At NL100 you can also pretty easily avoid the regs, while @ NL200 its hard to avoid regs. Often it's 5 regs and 1 fish at a table and that's a GOOD table.

Overall you just need more time and practice. Focus on spending time with a coach. That's the most important thing you can do right now.
