Finally had a long session. I've been getting back into the flow of poker after a 1 month break and man it was hard to rebuild the stamina. Just did a 3k hand session today and it was awesome. Played well and dealt with beats by smiling. Good feeling to have the discipline back and the calm, focused mind.

Things are also going well with the new coaching endeavor. In case you missed it I started coaching for low/micro stakes and have gotten a lot of interest. I have several lessons lined up and a lot of people who can't do it now due to tests, internet problems, etc, but I will hopefully be helping them in the future.

I'm excited about coaching. I'm weird in the sense that I like to help people and I especially like to teach people. I remember back when I first watched CR videos I would think "man I'd like to make a video like this and train someone". But for the longest time I didn't think I was good enough to really help anybody. Lately I started feeling like I could help, but only recently have I felt like "yeah I definitely know enough that I can train someone". I think what inspired it is my lady started playing facebook poker and I offered to give her a poker bootcamp. She kind of took me up on it but in the course of teaching her some stuff I realized that if someone is on the newer side to poker, I have a LOT to offer them. And it's really enjoyable to help people, if they're serious about learning.

So I'm gonna be grinding and coaching this week. Let's see how it goes!

First of all, Papa Smurf didn't create Smurfette. Gargamel did. She was sent in as Gargamel's evil spy with the intention of destroying the Smurf village. im at nl25 cos ppl r more aggresiv they r shoving more and play better, so if i want too improve its +ev to play more nl25 before i move to nl200 - genjix

first time I tried to teach a gf how to play poker she had KK and got 3bet preflop, I told her to repop it to 25bb, so she typed the amount and then... clicked FOLD, I never fucked her again.

from which limits do u think ur coaching would be worth investing in ?

NL50/NL25 are probably the best, especially in terms of being affordable to your BR. I'd definitely help you a lot at NL10 and lower but it will be pretty expensive in relation to your BR.
