played some full tilt...
won a 3 dollar 90 person ko tourney for like 70 bucks i think, yea it's pretty sweet. also won some cash monies so at around 165 on full tilt from the 50 that i got. haven't really gotten the bonuses though, but i guess i have another month to unleash it. pretty sweet results.
played a few hands on pstars...
ran pretty good, lots of coolers lots of set/set but i sucked out way hard on some lper (i recognized the avatar)

i was teaching a friend how to play and i said "i'm betting here on the river to induce a shove see?"
and we were shouting like mad when he shoved and snap called fist pumped popped champagne shot flare guns and then just started dieing of laughter to this ridiculous outcome.
anyway first night i've ever played for so long through the night drunk and tipsy. and i guess go ahead and add first winning drunk night as well.
thoughts on poker:
all the frustration and anxiety from poker seems so far away from me right now. i love this game i guess. meh it must be so easy when you run good (to love the game i mean).

just bet the flop... this guy didnt even have 60bbs
plus, a king and an ace never folds this flop so you'll get some value
Also if he was deeper, think about overbet shoving because any rag ace will now have a community King kicker

in general fish like to call wayyy more than they like to bet/raise. so i dont expect a lot of fish here to shove the river with air bcuz you bet kind of small, but i would expect them to call off their stack if they have Ax or Kx on this board, so yea just bet the flop bcuz otherwise youre losing a ton of value. |

also you should think about what kind of hands hes going to shove this river with? when he calls the turn he most likely has some kind of showdown value, whether its Ax, Kx, or some other pocket pair or 5x or something. theres almost no draws he can have unless he has QJ or QT or something. so on the river he has a lot more hands with showdown value than hands he can turn into a bluff, so betting to induce a shove is way bad. this $4 bet is going to just get called by most of his hands and you lose a crapton of value. |
