So basically I have no money or FPP left at pokerstars but with my last few FPP I entered a satellite for the $1 Million turbo takedown and was lucky enough to win a spot. Arcology=me
I started playing at pstars when I was only 16 so I made the account under my dad's name. If I ever decide to move back to pstars or if I win big in a tourney I wouldn't want to worry about forfeiting my winnings due to illegal play or something like that. Would it work to e-mail pstars, explain my situation, and ask them to change the account to my identity since I am now 18?
Also, about how long, on average, does it take for the turbo takedown to get down to around 500 people, and how long does it last in total?

search around 2+2's internet poker forum for exact answers, but basically I wouldn't say anything. They have been lenient on accounts that are under your own name that were made when you were underage, but IDK how they feel about changing identities. |

yeah I don't think letting them know that you created an account under false pretenses is a good idea. I would create your own account and not log onto your dad's account starting like now, now that you're 18.
1) You can now have legit checks mailed to your house under your name without having to go through your dad in case you should ever cash out
2) bonus monies
oh and more like SMI.aPOLOGY NUB@!!!! |

Well I am still dependent on my father. I mean I have the same address, phone number, last name. Really the only difference is the first name lol. I'll be going to college soon though but when I do withdraw I would still want the checks mailed to my (parents') house. |

After playing the tournament, if u cash or do well, just transfer the funds to a new account that you make under your name. Then just play on that account from then on. |

It seems as though things are going to be just fine. PS is scolding me for violating their ToS but they're going to allow me to change the account over to myself with photo ID and signed permission from my dad. |
