hey no whining from me.

been playing nl 25 for a while, still haven't bought a hud or anything. i know plenty of million threads/debates i must have read a bunch. i know there are a few green stars who refuse to play with them. anyway i was wondering if someone could concisely and correctly explain pro/con for me.

also about to reach goldstar soon, i know they have some decent perks, any tips on what to use fpp/vpp for?

also ty for the tips on python. i've been playing much better i'm almost sure of it.

hooray for usa and france!

HUDs are an invaluable tool if you're multi-tabling, but many people forget that the HUD is a SUPPLEMENT for your game, not something that should make your decisions for you.

Also, save your FPPs, or use them for satellites. The bonuses really aren't worth it unless you're a supernova.

EDIT: I didn't really say anything about what a HUD does for you, lol. The best thing it'll do is pretty much point out how loose the fish and super fish are, as well as how tight/loose regs are. It's very good for determining preflop ranges, and sometimes can tip the scales on a postflop decision.

theres basically no con to using a HUD, unless you misinterpret the stats. but yes it gives you very valuable preflop information and helps you table select quickly within an orbit or two if youre with a bunch of opponents you know nothing about. even if youre playing few tables, i still think it helps a lot.

i agree. before i played i thought the regulars were tags because i didn't pay much attention. after i got hud, i realized they weren't tag, but serious nits who played 10/7 over 2k hands. so it became easier to play in 3 bet pots if at all with them with hands like JJ and AK.
