I did accounting for 3 years at uni got my degree and learned nothing. I've now had 2 years of professional experience and have actually learnt useful info both about controlling money & business in general which will help me immeasurably in my future.
I guess what I'm saying is; getting a degree for the sheer certificate on your wall is useless, either get one and use it to get a job in that field or don't bother spending the time. |

I completely feel the same about this. Especially about the part about getting into a degree on finance mostly for learning how to manage your own money and basically improve your own wealth and that I sometimes feel like just taking up my stuff and leaving and see how it is to start fresh.
Now I don't have insane wealth like you do because of poker because frankly, I haven't reached that kind of success yet sadly enough. But I am also still pushing it and my pursuit after money is exactly the same as yours. I think that money gives freedom and that thing, freedom, is ultimately the thing I am chasing, the thing I am hoping will make me truely happy in life.
Anyways, I can basically tell about every single part posted why I feel the same about it but if you want to talk about it or whatever, just hit me up on MSN.
