It would seem that producing the birth certificate would put this to rest. It is a requirement that the president be born on American soil, so it would only seem natural that a candidate for the job would have to prove citizenship during the application (campaign) process. Why is that so tough to understand? It doesn't have to be partisan. He should just put it out there and end the speculation.
Unless he's hiding something.

With this week celebrating the 40th anniversary of the moon landing, I've been seeing lots of news articles giving attention to the moon hoax nuts and offering the usual "bad astronomy" explanations to debunk them. So, since there are still people who dont believe we landed on the moon (lol seirously this is just funny), I'm not gonna give too much hope people will drop the birth certificate thing either.
bye now

A certificate of live birth is NOT the same as birth certificate.... A birth certificate is given only to a natural born citizen who's parents are both citizens if I'm not mistaken. I believe that's what the whole debacle is about

and if that is true about a birth certificate Fujikura then thats an interesting point
based off that I can see a problem of technicality and that would explain why this is a growing instead of settled issue...
not because it's as hard to prove as landing on the moon

and as for the certification of live birth pics u posted matdon460 they do mention what you posted in that Lou Dobbs vid
think about the names of the documents:
certification of live birth
vs
birth certificate
I know I don't have a certification of live birth, but a birth certificate
so can u see where they are coming from?
a certification of a live birth doesn't certify that you are a citizen
it just certifies a birth
interesting technicality actually
at the rate of things I'm seeing I think something more is going to have to come from this from the administration
which I find amusing because again why is this an issue? especially when you campaign on transparency
YEAH give that birth certificate otherwise Schwarzeneger for president!!!

its pretty clear that he was born in the us by that certificate. that alone qualifies for citizenship.
seriously, these news reporters need to get the fuck out and start reporting things that matter. these people have turned into the laziest working people in the us, and thats a difficult title to obtain with how strong most unions are.
Its time to stop thinking like a bitch and think smart like a poker player - ket

By the way, the reason its' such a big deal is that in our constitution our president is supposed to be a natural born U.S. citizen. I believe the circumstances that are under debate is the president's place of birth, and the validity of obama's fathers' citizenship (iirc). It's something like Hawaii and Alaskan born Americans are not "natural born" because they aren't part of the continental U.S., and also that Obama's father was a dual-citizen, or even maybe not even an American until after Obama was born. (Don't quote me on this, just some facts I've heard in some discussions)

I think that it's important that we uphold the U.S. constitution. Obama's taken office without actually showing whether or not he has qualified for it (natural-born U.S. Citizen), and people who don't understand the situation just let it go right over their heads. I'm not saying I don't think he has a right to the presidency, but I am saying we are a nation with hundreds of years of history, and if we have required EVERY OTHER president to do this, then why can Obama slip by without proof? I guess it's too late now, it's not like we can kick him out of office on some tiny technicality anyway, but I just wanted you guys to know the facts.
Also, don't get me wrong, I don't hate Obama, I voted for him
