Hey I have deposited $150 both on Full Tilt and on Pokerstars. I wanna build my roll up consistently and possibly become a multi million dollar poker player. I want to know if I should use one site for cash games and one for tournaments & sit n goes. My bankroll buy in rule would be three tables at a time with $2 MAX starting off at each table, and then building up to however the "Poker Gods" allow me. Is this a good idea or should I just use both sites as SITES and not be so conservative. The 75 buy in rule makes me exactly at $150. I'm really serious about how to approach this so PLEASE HELP ME GUYS, let me know your input. Constructive criticism welcome.
Thanks

id stick to one site and stick to one or the other, cash games or tournaments, if u are a beginning player attempting to learn both games simultaneously will probably be a bad idea.
better off sticking to one or the other primarily at first until you are a decent winner, then when u are so bored of grinding cash games for e.g take a "break" and try and learn tournaments/sngs. |

I agree with critterer. Pick one and commit to it. They're completely different styles of play. Also pick a site so you can notice who the regulars are and avoid them. I didn't think FTP had 2NL tables? Thought they started at 10NL with 10% rake ewww |

Im pretty much redepositing... I have been playing the game for two years I do fairly well in tournaments on PStars... You can check my stats my name for both sites is dlw492... I'm just redepositing and accepting the fact to take it serious and be passionate about it. Not saying I was not ever BUT I really know I can do better so I deposited $300 on two sites total... |

The way pokerstars is it seems like it would be to your advantage to concentrate soley on playing there if you are going to play there at all since the way their VIP levels works makes such a huge difference. If you're really planning to become a serious poker player you'd want to get Supernova and eventually Elite Supernova anyway at pokerstars since that's the best rakeback deal once you get there I hear. |

Taking a look at old teamliquid logs proves that isn't true at all... |

Deposit only on one site and use the other half to get yourself a training site (DeucesCracked or CardRunners) membership and study tons of videos, that way you'll be in the millions much faster. ~
Oh and investing in hold'em manager for cash games or similar software for sng/tournament play depending on which you choose to commit your time in to is extremely helpful as well. |

1.play cash games.
2.buy Hold em Manager
3.meet,create new online poker friends
