I have been pretty tired since I arrived home from USA (guess its called jetlag). Therefor I have played very little and the times I have played, I have played pretty bad.
Today however I felt much better and decided I wanted a nice secure boost on my roll, so I went down to NL200 and played 6 tables. It was actually more relaxing then playing 4 tables of NL400

At first I couldnt believe what hands FTP managed to give me. First I won with KK on KKxAx against AA. Then I lost with 22 on 5d4d2d 2 T against Ad3d. Sick setups..
After that however I went on a small heater, got AAvAK like 3 times and I also played really well. I ended up about 8BI so I am pretty happy about that. Next session its up to NL400 again.

I can really tell now that there is a hugh difference between NL200 and 400. People have bad ranges and is overall much easier to read.
Its not like people have gotten worse, I just know I have improved a lot the past month. I think much more in the acutal hands trying to find when my opponents are weak and when there lines makes no sence. Some of the stuff that has helped me has come from CTSs book. Its definitely not worth 1,5k or w/e it costed in the beginning, but now its pretty priceworthy, atleast if you are worse then a solid winning NL400 reg and can spare the money.

Sweet. So nice to hear you're back on track again. Me and Jocke speculated a bit and figured out that you wouldn't do good with coke and prostitutes as a poker substitute.

LOLOLOLOL....Dusty your so out of line...why do you think he's back at NL200 and talks about "secure boost", ofc he got taste for the better in life and now want to safeguard his interest in being able to afford his new addictions received over there ;-)

I wish I had your NL200sessions. And I wish I got a secure boost to my roll when I went down to NL100.
So you actually bought his book? thought you just talked about it but never got that thumb out of your *** and bought the book.

hehe well, weird discussion I guess I never was "out of track".. but now I am better on it since I had a small pokerbreak during my USA trip.. so if you see it that way I am now back on track.. but I belong at NL400 and not NL200.. I only play NL200 now if there are no good games running on NL400, I play really bad or I just want to play safe and not focus 110%..

yeah I bought it.. need to reread it again though to see what I missed.. I know a lot of the stuff didnt get into my head right away since everything is written so compressed.. but there is definitely some good stuff in there..
