This mvideo had me rolling and I'd put it in the ROFL thread but I will mind my manners and do the best I can to keep any politics thoughts and discussion out of there
seems only right
In other news this semester is starting soon (I'm going to school to become a lawyer and yes I'm paying through it with poker) and there is a really good chance sometime within the next 5 months or so I won't be around LP anymore so you guys can breathe a sigh of relief =P
just giving the heads up now as I might drop off this site among others
with that I'm going to spam some political pics to end this post
I miss the days I just ignored politics cuz it was all bs...
cheers

Cool, good luck with the law career. My wife is going to law school and her mother recently graduated. It's gonna be tough, but I dont want to spoil it for you.
On a related note, if you are just now entering your freshman year in college, I guess that puts you around the age of 17 or 18 right? If this is correct, I'm a bit disillusioned here. For you see, you have been rigorously involved in a variety of political debates on this forum for the better half of a year, discussing a wide range of topics from healthcare, the war, politics, Reagan, Clinton, Bush, socialism, capitalism, the constitution etc etc, all of which seem to be a bit out of your realm of experience are they not? I mean, the first half of these subjects took spotlight while you were in junior high or possibly elementary school. By my calculations, you have probably never even voted before.
I guess I'm just trying to wrap my head around the notion that you ever felt you had the right to challenge people and discuss them when you had absolutely no experience in the first place. Here I am on the phone all day today with my $300/month health insurance provider about why they declined to pay for my wife's yearly OB-GYN exam and now we are too scared to take her to a chiropractor to have her neck examined after suffering unknown trauma, meanwhile you continue to engage in discussions meant to derail attempts to fix what I consider problems with the healthcare industry, all the while you are nothing more than a dependent on your parents plan. The examples are endless.
Please correct me if I am wrong, because I dont know if I should be laughing or crying.
bye now

like I said correct me if I'm wrong. If you're 28 or somethin then I'll eat my words. But I've asked you if you have voted before and your current age and you have declined to answer both times. Coupled with your writing style while engaged in direct debate I have oft suspected you might be a bit on the young side. But again I mean no offense by that.

experiences matter yes Holly I'll agree to that as in a debate you can really only bring what you know
you really think that google has brought forward all my points and reasoning in my arguments?

to avoid turning your blog into a chat room I'll come back later if anything substantial has been added to this thread. I wish you would quit dodging and just be straight up with me. bbl.

nice psychology
believe me I am straight up with u
I'm just not going to tell u my personal life except in the forms I choose to
and age and voting record I choose not to so srry
I already see u trying to outside factors such as these as a basis for your arguments against me and they are primarily unimportant and have nothing to do with the debate or issues of now
you say there is nothing substantial in this thread to chat about because I won't tell u my age
that is shallow and VERY narrow thinking and totally on u
I'm not running for a federal job nor applying for anything here so this info is irrelevant and my deal stands and is the only way ur gonna know my age
hell, I'll throw in a answer any 20 question list into it =D

Yeah, I think it's safe to assume that a teenager with little experience on topics such as health care reform, voting, etc can make a legit argument without referring to other sources.

I will agree til the end that a persons experiences are important
but thinking experience and age are one and the same and just relying on age equaling experience is a folly
folly examples:
-if I was 42 years old I would then naturally be smarter than a 17 year old
-someone 42 years old would automatically have many more experiences than a 17 year old
these are not always the case and are nothing but a bad assumption and illogical thinking/reasoning and has no basis for me to tell my age in debate
