So in my last blog I posted stats from 10nl, since then I have successfully moved up to 25nl after failing with my first shot. Having beaten 25nl very solidly in the past I have noticed a difference in the game after a 6 month absence.

1. Wayyyyyy more 3betting/4betting
2. Significantly more LAG players
3. Less fish

But hey im not complaining there is still plenty of money to be made and im happy to say I am thinking about poker more deeply than ever. My first try moving up I was trying too hard to buy pots and not giving people enough credit, but since then I have stayed focused and tried hard to analyze and exploit people's tendencies.

As for life I am recovering from shoulder surgey. I had dislocated my left shoulder about 5 times in the last year and it definitely gives me peace of mind knowing that I no longer will have to deal with that. However, I still need to have my right shoulder operated on

, but one step at a time. The doctor said I have a genetic predisposition for dislocations because a bone which is meant to keep the ball in the socket is thinner than average and hence isn't as effective for stabilization. Health aside, im excited to be going back to beautiful Santa Barbara to start my third year and see all my great friends. Only 2 more weeks!
