Well I just finished my first week of work, it was a very long week (55hrs) which is good and bad, lots of ot for $$$ but tiring as hell, just come home and sleep then rinse and repeat. On the other hand somehow I managed to fit in a few hours of poker mon, tues, wed nights....
Oh ya I made just over $1100 cad this week @ work (~$1k USD) in those 55 hrs.
I keep telling myself that this job is good experience for an engineering student but in all honesty its not going to be relavent to any job I have in the future. Was thinking about playing poker for the fall (instead of taking a work term) after having a couple 10k+ months this summer while I was taking classes but didnt pull the trigger.. obv from pressure from my parents.

Honest advice. Keep the job. It's going to help you alot in the future, once you finish your engineering studies. |

HU + small sample.
If you bumhunt 10ptbb is very sustainable I think. |

Yes this sample is obv way to small to make an assumption from, however if you look at the last post I am running at 17 or 18 ptbb/100 over the last 30k hand. (See last post) Although 17 or 18 ptbb is probably not sustainable I think its quite evident that I am strongly plus ev @ 100nlhu, since switching to hu 3 months ago my winrate is over 10ptbb/100 over 75k hands and i have had 2 10k+ months while i was enrolled in a full engineering course load. But ya I am going to be getting some coaching very soon and looking to move up stakes. Thanks for the comments. Gl on the tables. |
