Before today I was up 10.6k for the month, this morning I loaded up 6 tables, some Stars some FTP and began to play. Things started off bad right off the bat. I ended up playing the longest session of the month, and possibly of the year for me, getting in 3813 hands and playing about 7.5 hours without a break. I ended down 7.6k, almost 8k below EV. Whenever I coolered someone they sucked out, I managed to lose KK v TT on KJT in 3bet pot, AA v QQ AIPF, AA v KK AIPF, 88 v 34 on 763 in 4bet pot vs some super retard maniac, TT v JJ against a 39/39 with 40% 3bet and 0% fold to 3bet, 0% fold to 4bet. Lost tons of other suckouts, flips, coolers and didn't manage to get there with barely any of my draws.

Here are some stats of the month:

The only good things I can take from this are that I "should" be up a lot for the month and that I put in more volume than I have in a long time. Just sucks that I'm running like dog crap.

if poker is dangerous to them i would rank sports betting as a Kodiak grizzly bear who smells blood after you just threw a javelin into his cub - RaiNKhAN

Back in the days when I played StarCraft I was lazy also. I never played more than 24 games in one day and that was a one-off, and in the following days I barely played at all cause I find it so hard to put in that many hours. I usually played more like 3-5 games a day even when active.

Like 15k-20k hands per month is standard for me even when active at poker, though I do only play 4-6 tables. I'm looking to increase my workrate though and this is a good start, at least in terms of volume, if not results

i also used to play only 3-5 games a day in starcraft, since that was enough to frustrate me

starcraft is so similar to poker in many ways
