After playing 2500+ hands and break even yesterday I have some questions to ask, I'd really appreciate the help.

How many tables should I play? I play four now but I don't really know what's happening on all of them all the time. I can't really get reads on the players' skill levels because I can't watch everybody all the time.

What is the optimal strategy to beat NL5? What software should I get?

I'm starting day 2 now with the help of some advice from Etherone.

Update: Here is the graph.

If you can't see what's happening on 4 then play on 2 is my opinion. You're prone to spew or over think situations on 1 table.

optimal NL 5 strategy is value betting and isolation raising a large range of strong hands in position as most the players are passive call stations.
Don't bluff unless you have a read like when they min bet they always fold to a raise, or something of the sort.

it's basically Isolate in position, bet bet bet, fold to a raise. No one bluffs here, and if they are the bluffing type you'll know it fast because they tend to do it every hand for 20 until they bust. they usually even just call with their monster draws.

you can get a pokertracker 3 trial for 60 days, use that or hold'em manager

What hands should I be raising in late position? AK-A2, AA-22, and KQ/QJ/J10 Is what I was thinking.

Yeah I've read that.

I was given advice that I shouldn't be that super-tight so I'm asking in my blog.

edit: i've been spewing a lot lately i think. I got frustrated and started trying to steal pots.

edit2: also its not that i cant see 4 tables, its that i cant follow/observe every player when i am not involved in the pot.

You're right, I guess this is the patience test, I'll just ABC Jelle's guide and wait it out. I haven't gotten to many good situations but I can't let myself tilt and spew.

start with 2 tables, add 1 more when you feel comfortable.

How you want it, bars or bullets?
