$15 to anyone that can help me fix the tiling problem on my monitors
I use two monitors a 24 inch (1920X1080) wide screen and a 19' square (1280 x 1024). I have the resolutions maxed out on both and my video card can support this.
Here is the problem/how to get the money
Before everything got messed up when I played on Pokerstars and tiled the tables, 4 tables would tile on the 19 inch then any amount after the four would tile on the 24inch. This is what I would like to get back to..
Currently when I tile the tables I get the first six to go on the 24 inch then, any more tables tile on the 19 inch. I only use the 24 inch for playing and the 19 for the lobby screen, random windows, etc. Just want to be able to get 12 tables with little to no overlap on the 24 inch.
I'll just go down the list of who posts first
Edit: I don't know what info is needed to do this, so if anything is not clear or you need to see more settings let me know, thanks

dont need the $$, but is it possible that you had the 19" setup as your primary monitor before ? That would kind of make sense since the PS software would probably start tiling on the primary monitor first. IΒ΄m not using a dualsetup anymore, but i remember having a similar problem and dont remember how it got fixed. |

I just tried that now and this happened
For which ever monitor is selected as the primary the tables cascade on, but they always tile 6 on the 24 then the rest of the 19".
I think some other setting may have gotten adjusted when I rebooted my computer, because what you suggested I did last time and it seemed to fix the problem. |

I think you need to disconnect your 24" monitor, tile the 4 tables on your 19 inch, save custom layout on PokerStars and then reconnect your 24" and now the first 4 will open on your 19 inch. If you'd want just the 12 on your 24", just disconnect the 19" and tile the 12 tables and save custom layout, then reconnect the 19" and drag the lobby there. |

There is an easier way for all this, there is an AHK script that u just run, set the tables in position you want, it wil lask you to number each of them, giving it a priority starting from 1, then you click save.
Next time you run a PS and open tables, it will be placing tables in order for given numbers: 1,2,3,4,5,6 moving each table and resizing after its opened.

It's also possible to save multiple different layouts.
This by far the easiest and fastest way to do this. |

i know youve figured it out already or w/e but to get down to what you were actually talking about, u know when u go to select displays and change resolutions, each display has a number, so you would have display 1,2 well pokerstars starts on 1 when you hit tile, then goes to 2. At one point, you had the monitors all identified as the correct numbers (for what you wanted) so im guessing you had the 19in as monitor 1, and the 24in as monitor 2. Now, you cant change these numbers, they are set that way based on the ports and i think the IQR# that the port is given on the graphics card. So unplugging the montiors and repllugging them in different order and stuff like that doesnt help. You have to change which port the monitor plugs into, so basically just shut off the pc, take the 24 and plug it in where the 19 is right now and do the same for the 19 and restart and you should have the 19 as monitor #1 and pstars will do everything right by default.. i would try this out even if you have a decent customized layout because its nice to just keep ape smashing tile as u add more tables and they just all fit in there right, the layout can start putting the tables in there unorganized and if you add 1 extra it will be all big and stuff... ive written a whole book.. gl |
