KTo - good turn bet, but your default play should be folding to his bet on the river unless you know he's spewy. In light of the JJ hand, this can't be that bad.
JJ - ouch. I guess at this point you knew he was a total station?
T8o - don't go broke in a limped pot without the nuts. Villain was a moron and you got it in good, but you're going to be crushed here a lot with bottom 2 and only a 2-1 favorite against draws.
AKo - ouch.
AQo - I assume you knew he was doing that light.
KK - ouch.
JJ - ouch. |

How can u analyze his play when he is raising it to 15x preflop. Make a standard raise preflop, hit your hand, get paid off. |

I think i've played it perfectly fine although there are some leaks like bet/fold on both turn and river card, but given the history of villain, i assumed that he loves to slowplay his hands even though there were many cards that could scares him... I would have lost more money on this one if i didn't, for this single case, trust my guts.
Anyway we already discussed about it on the topic, so i don't think there's any need to bring it back again. Instead i'd really like to hear your thoughts about my last session please ?
@ shadowdrgn, about T8o i guess you're right, how should i play it then ? Just call the flop bet from this villain and shove on a blank turn ? Or simply call every street whenever there's no flush or straigh possibilities ? Fold to river bet ? I'm not sure there.
@ Gadget, cauz he was a HUGE donk. Like you could ever dream of, but he kept getting good cards until the very end of my session (where i won almost everything back) this villain was playing 95% of the hand and he already did a huge donkbet with nothing. So i was 99% sure he had nothing.
Edit : Oh and, he loves to donkbet when the pot is huge because he had an enormous stack which was a real pain in the ass. If i've bet like 4 to 8 bb he would just fold the flop whenever he didn't hit. He loves to see the flop before call or fold and bet when the turn is a blank card.

Stop blaming your loses on others, I'm having a hard time finding one hand on this thread that has been played correctly. |

IF villians is calling any hand pre no matter what, I would and so should u make it as large as possible pre with jj,
I'm not saying this should be your standard line, (i dislike how u played that 10K hand) |

| Disagree. Sure we can adjust bet sizing for opponent looseness, but mainly just to guarantee ourselves more value preflop. The 3-4x raise rule is mathematically enough to get stacks in on the turn/river if villain continues with the hand. Making such obscene preflop raises is useless and counter-productive. We cant raise every hand like this, so what does it say the next time we open to .10 instead of .50? Not to mention the times he folds b/c we're being retarded. Personally I want a call vs fish with JJ. I think it's safe to say hero was just on tilt betting like this.
Raiz, it still looks to me like you are just playing your hands for max value based upon their strength vs the board. Always remember to call out what you think your opponent could have, and how much he would pay or fold to on each board. If you have JJ and the board comes Q63 why are you putting him all in? You're dead to the queen, and you are going to make weaker pairs fold most often, and you cant be worried about every flush draw that hits, especially when you get to the flop in such a strange circumstance and he leads out. Had this hand started properly, you would cbet the flop and evaluate the turn. If the turn bricks off you can probably cbet again or check if you're scared, but then you definitely bet the river *for value* expecting a worse hand to call. Dont shut him out of the pot, think "if I were a donk and had 64o, how much would I call on a 63QTK board?" |

There were a couple of other bonehead hands towards the end. AQo should never be a stack off hand preflop. And with AK, when someone 4bet or 5bet minraises you preflop you're usually at the very top of their range. At best you should assume to be flipping or splitting here, it just so happens his range is wide enough to include AQs as 'the nuts' to him, but you see his perception of his hand was very strong, most other players you encounter will have QQ+ in this situation. You're better off seeing the flop and getting it in with TPTK with this much preflop action since at no point were you committed to going allin yet due to all the minraising.
The other hands I dont think were played necessarily wrong, definitely some bad beats in there. Try to quit sooner thought before you take 9 hits like this in a single session. I dont care how disciplined you think you are, nobody brushes off a 9 BI loss without it affecting their game a little. As players suck out on you their confidence builds, and even if they are just getting lucky they will play differently vs you, and it has a sick way of turning out to be for the best. Coupled with the fact that as you continue to lose you are 99% certain to begin playing differently as well. Even if you have nothing to do with the outcome and played 100% perfect, after 5 BI's or so I would pull the plug just to make sure I have nothing to do with it. Remove myself from the equation. Remember, short losing sessions and long winning ones.
