Yea, it's not something that usually hits at all the first time. The reason your throat hurt could be 'cause you're either doing it wrong, just really not used to smoke or you bought bad stuff.
Either way, try it a few more times and let it have it's full effect is my advice |

yeah.. I smoked like 3 times a year for 5 years but was mostly smoking junk or was already drunk most of the time which totally dominates being high. Anyway, in Vegas I hung out with a couple of people who smoke frequently so I joined in a couple of more times without drinking any alcohol and it turns out its awesome. Been smoking with a much higher frequency lately.. 
I used to think I vastly preferred drinking but I definitely don't anymore, you're so much more lucid and there's no hang over or similar after effects from the green stuff.
Also I didn't feel high the first time I smoked, seems to be a common thing. |

Third time is a charm :D but i hate getting wasted with alcohol i just dont like to throw up, don't remenber anything and getting a headache the following day ... can be fun if you're semi-drunk tho (and obv mix it up with something else) |

Hm my first time weed completely blow me away
It was totally awesome !
thats why i truned into a regular weed smoker pretty fast
after 2 years of smoking every day -> cannabis got boring and i hardly got any effects at all from it anymore ...
-> turned hardcore on other drugs
got pretty fucked up
quit drugs 3 years ago and concentrated on sports
-> never even touched any drug after that ( besides alcohol) and probably never will try that again. |
