I've become so nitty that people couldn't stack me, or at times don't want to play for stacks even when they have cracked my overpairs.
On the other hand I miss so much values e.g. I wouldn't put in a raise on a semi-scary boards with a limped set.
Overall it results in a low varianace, modest winning style so I guess that's okay.
So how do I not get stacked?
55 Bottom set 4-way minraised pot + Show Spoiler +
QQ sick flop non-standard check, call-down is standard BTW (since villain's line is monster or bluff) + Show Spoiler +
AhAc multiway in position flop Kc7c3c + Show Spoiler +
Older hands. 77 Set limped pot boat on river + Show Spoiler +
QQ a preflop situation, got exactly what I wanted (shortie 3bet all in after I flatted the original raise) but then 80BB-UTG 4bet me. + Show Spoiler +

Grow a pair on some of these. And stop checking on the turn because they call your flop bet! |

the current hands are badly played imo, checking when u should bet and calling when you should fold in hand 2. IN hand 3, i don't know why u didn't get it in on the flop. Even so, i don't know why u waited till river to raise. |

QQ flop check bad, AA flop call bad, turn call bad and river raise just seals the deal on that you were just clicking buttons there.QQ fold preflop rly bad esp with villian having 80bb and having the shortie as overlay and the list goes on, the 55 I dont hate but turning your hand into a bluff might get him to fold a better set or a straight since he will likely bet any turned flush on the turn or river.
The general gist here is you are playing in a way that never allows you to put anyone in a tough spot, which is the opposite of what you want to be doing. |

If you're going to play so tight passive, I would increase my raise/bet sizing to make up for all the lost value. Raising to .75 in a NL25 game is better suited to laggy play, since you can build more small pots and take advantage of them without variance killing you. If you're going to be a nit then play big bet poker and make it 5xBB preflop, or 7x with limpers, and bet full pot on every hand, if you're going to bet at all. |
