utterly owned... |

such a weird match. this guy called EVERY 3 bet i made. EVERY ONE. and every single one i made for value. he almost never 3bet himself maybe like 2% or something. AND HE UTTERLY DESTROYED ME. it was like he was soulreading me or something.. took like $1300 off me. i got c/r on the flop, on the turn on the river. on the river it seemed to be for value everytime. but on the turn and the flop it was quite balanced i guess. i tried to rebluff him, to slowplay, to play fast to make him play for floating, to bluff. i really tried my hardest but he was raising when i had nothing, raising when he had me beat and folding when i had a nutlike hand.
here is his tableratings. appears to be a somewhat skilled amateur player. who can stand his ground on 1/2 HU nl but if a guy like that owns me so fucking hard really i have no place there.

i just don't get it how the fuck he figured this out. he bluffs me on the turn (like i suspect he does quite some, but he also uses this for value with trips for example) so i float him to rebluff in position on the river and he fucking calls with A hi. nobody owns me so hard as to raise me on the turn to get more money in the pot to call me on the river with A hi. WTF...
my computer crashed so im playing without HM but i was single tabling and paying a lot of attention here are the reads i made during the match, in addition i had a lot of stuff in my head ofcourse:
u nl
called down met draws zelf nut draws
anyway, computer crashed. no HM. forced to play on a laptop, which i dislike, bankroll destroyed last week. dropped another $1300 right now. i'm forced to move down. i was splitting action already between 100nl and 200nl but now im really forced. sucks so much.

Looks to me like he could be a good live player. These kinds of players make excellent reads and act upon them accordingly, but their theory can be a little off from how an internet player sees it. This can also mean that you have to change the way you read their hands. Also his preflop play corresponds to that type imo. |

wtf .. how ? first he raises turn because his Ace high might be good and 9 also... if u have Big pair u raise, if small poket pair u call and most like check river.. then T comes ..so what u wanna rephere that u bet call with AT? its so unlikely ..mostly u have air on river
if u had AQ,AJ,small poket what u wanna could call turn u check with those. He just lets you to hang yourself. Give up on turn.. he wont fold almost no river if he has pocket or ace high. |

for wolfhearth and tutz. if his A hi might be good, he should call down. turn and river. to keep me in there.
yeah a big pair i might be raising on the turn but not necessarily i would want to keep him bluffing. i float to rep a pair bigger then 3's, but yes usually a 88, 99, type of hand, that i dont reraise on the turn because there is a possibility he has a bigger pair, but on the river feel like i can extract some value from a most likely weaker pair or the 3 ofcourse im not repping AT here. its very unlikely i would bet a A hi on the river. the T didnt really come into it.
ofcourse he doesnt fold if he has a pocket on the river. but i did expect him to fold A hi.

actually he played this hand very good, the K turn is very bad card for barreling and he knew you either bluff or have poket pair. He almost minraises and maybe expected to be reraised if you had like TT+, and flat called if you have small pair/air. Then he checks river expecting you to check back low full houses and bet air or Tx/JJ/TT which you have very rarely. Not a bad call.
Calling every 3bet you make is something you can exploit but its also very tilting which maybe was the case.
Just go rape 100nl |

well he played it really well if he seriously assumed that piratematerial will be callin with air to be able to bluff on river. Now I agree with pirate that he probably did not think it like that. Instead it looks like "hee hee I raiz... oh he called... now he bets... well maybe I call" kind of thought process. |
