Well then...I started with $100 a couple weeks back and turned it into $880, which I then tilted off at 10/20 and 15/30 FL. I can afford to do it since I have a good paying job..but I enjoy the satisfaction of kickin some ass. Anyway..i redeposited 600 on stars and now I'm up to 1076. My question is ..I've been a marginal winner at 50NL after only 6k hands and a loser at 25NL over 25k hands...with less than 25 bi for 50nl but close to it ..do I continue at 50nl or drop back to 25nl and work on my game? Thanks for input

Just play where you have most fun. I'd consider a 1k BR enough for trying nl50.

i move to 50nl when 1250, down to 20nl when under 1000, and up again when I get back up to 1250. But I'm pretty nitty. As long as ur working on ur game, either seems fine since you have a job xD

I do think it helps to put all ur hands in the tracker, then look at them objectively, like how you did last month at a limit, if you're barely beating it, maybe work more on it till you have a winrate you're satisfied and confident with, then move up.

I moved to NL50 with $1500, to NL100 with $4k when rebuilding.

Some people do the same at $1000 and $2000, it really only depends on how much you beat the limits for, how variance heavy your style is and how capable you are of moving down quickly when shit hits the fan.
