Warning, newb math here (been a long time i've not done math)
I'm only silverstar statut, so here's the deal :
How much do i need to win the 280 fpp hyper turbo S&G (6max) in order to make more profit than the 25000 fpp for 285$ with selling T$ to LP (forget the additionnal vpps for clearing the 285$ bonus) ?

With my maths, i need to win 1 time out of 3 in order to make profit but i'm not sure if i've made it right.
Plz feel free to correct me. If needed i'll ship 5$ (i'm a nl5 grinder, it's not much but hope it helps)

Thank you very much.

im too arsed to go through this but calculate the payoffs for each tourney.

so if 1st gets blaa, 2nd geta yada out of 9 then 1/9*1st + 1/9*2nd + 7/9*else

calculate payoff / entry price

compare resulting ratios

Nevermind, found it. For those wondering :

It's roughly 3.34. You need to win more than 1 out of 3.34 times to make more profit than the 25000 fpps bonus
For 5400 fpps it's roughly 3.38. Even thought it's cheaper, it may be harder to win the 5400's compared to the 280 for those who don't have a lot of fpps and don't want to have higher variance of course.
