Alright so here's my first video that I said would be coming around now. It's about an hour long @160mb.
* note there's a hand where I back-raise AQ that's totally butchered; I thought the squeezer was a short stack for some odd reason and was trying to re-iso. I also probably use some incorrect terminology and do some dumb stuff at one point or another but I'll improve as I make more.
link: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=PCKFI4N0 - if it gives an error that it doesn't exist try refreshing.
Really appreciate all the advice/questions/etc.

1) midstack sb completes - raise 100% of hands.
2) cb smaller sq. pot AQx midstack in pot
3) 17:13 89O isolate KQxs flop yo cbet 5.50-7.85 when they both checked.
I don't think your betsize matters much in this spot, one seems fishy and the other one really tight, I think $4 would do the same job (saving 1.5extra bb when they call as your equity is very low)
4) The AT ktts xs- don't raise
5)20:38 QTo you raise from blinds. Its a really dry board and a fish is against you. You bet 3 into 5.25.
Now I'd be betting more, just because it doesn't matter to fish how much you bet.
he is not folding pocket pairs, any queen, any sd or any piece any higher % of the time when you bet an extra dollar.
6) stealing multitabling nit's blinds - good point that he can't react, why not just raise smaller when he has a hand?
7) AQo lol
And note taking might become useful for you, especially in regards to bet sizing tells, you simply can't remember everything, and next time you will come in handy.
Look at Galfond playing the NL100 video, he had like 300 words down on just one fish after his session.

Just to prove I watched it all , the 78s hand at the end: I'd fold this on flop, but if you call you can never fold this river. shouldn't be -.-
You need to be good here just 27% of the time. |

Thx man, I agree with almost everything.
3) when I'm in pots that are multiway with regs on boards that are semi-coordinated I really like to bet normal sizes so I'm not messed with. It does look like I'm stealing a lot. Also I kind of contradicted myself when I said the fish won't call with anything except a K... he's probably going to call a lot worse than that obviously and I was intending to multibarrel that board a good amount if he did, so I don't see a reason not to just make it more if that's my plan. If it was more dry I'd bet even gayer than you suggested though.
6) If the person is going to 3bet me light at all I never 4x it, but if they're just going to call then ship me the extra money. |

Yea so it was closer than I thought. His bet sizing is really fucking weird though. Usually when I bluff catch fish here it's either a good sized bet like 24 into 27 or whatever, or it's stupid like 10 into 27. He bet basically half-pot and that's never a bluff when I make call downs. Even more important than that though is when I see him insta check the turn and then fairly quickly bet the river -- to me that means he's irritated the top card paired, but he still wants value from worse on the river... aka he has TT, JJ maybe, or 67/QJ that got there on the river.
Maybe somebody else has a different idea of the timings and bet sizings but that's my experience so far.

i had about a 50 BI downswing at NL100 (that continued to follow me to NL50) over about 130k hands so i didnt much care about poker muchless making videos. i think im finally through it though and ive improved a huge amount because of the downswing, so hopefully i can make some more videos now.
and no idea whats with megaupload but i dunno where the nl50 video is on my harddrive (not in the normal place). ill make some more np. |
