ONCE AGAIN, back to break even poker at NL 10. SO FRUSTRATING. I genuinely felt I had an 8k hand stretch where I was playing good. But couple of stupid plays and I am back to bad play.
This game really messes with your head. I think I am rational enough to not be results oriented. But doing that is much more difficult when you dont have the experience to evaluate if that play brings long term succeess.
Bah. Anyway...Whining aside...
I played a tight game. 11.1/7.7/4.38 with a 3% 3bet.Do you think I should open this up? I feel like I get unusually little action preflop. And that results in the only action I get to basically setminers I assume...or CLASH OF THE BIG PAIR scenarios... And that leads to me getting no action postflop except in reverse implied odds scenarios. SO OFTEN it just goes check fold. So fun...
And theres definately huge leaks in my game postflop. I feel Post flop is what suffers most when I am on tilt.
So...I think for tonight I am going to play NL 2. I want to move up ASAP but I dont trust myself with Tilt right now at NL 10.
BAH. This game is so hard. Anyway, thanks for reading.

nl2 wouldnt be a bad idea, i had 10bb/100 at nl2 but only 1 at nl10. i also had a higher winrate at nl25 than nl10. nl10 is rigged!

Yeah its much easier. I cant play NL 10 right now on too much tilt don't want to lose BR. |

Are you playing 6max ? If yes we can sweat together if you want. I'm also getting somewhat breakeven stretch on nl10 and i've a friend that plays it too and is having some difficulties to move up.

Yeah I am trying to open my game up. Want to see if they are profitable spots first. Gonna post some very simple preflop spots on LP too see if they are profitable.
Spots I am looking to open up:
3 betting people that are like 22/20 with a high steal attempt percentage. I do not know what % would be considered high though. And what my range should be for 3 betting here. And it gets a bit trickier I think when I am playing from the blinds. I 3 bet only low as AQ KQ and AJ here. Do not 3 bet ATs. I 3 bet probably 99+ but it depends on stack sizes, or else I might just fold since set mining probably is not an option. Thoughts?
Suited Connectors. The most I play them for are for limps on the Button and sometimes cutoff when limpers behind me. But I never flat call a preflop raise here. Under what scenario do you guys think its okay to flat suited connectors?
Playing a wider range from CO and The seat before CO.
This is probably the biggest area I can open up. But I must stress that my style of play is based on non-headache value. And I would like to keep it that way. I am nit style right now, so I feel I can still open up while sticking to this strategy.
If anyone plays 9 - Max I would love to discuss preflop ranges that you employ, hands you would recommend me add to my ranges in particular positions, and tips on how to play the hands.
