Keeping a blog here to record some random poker related things
Started with $150 on PokerStars, played 25NL eventually got my roll to $600
Then deposited $600 into Full Tilt and have been playing on it ever since
Ran $600 deposit into $1k and moved up to 50NL
Have been playing 50NL since October 2009 and today is now January 19th 2010

50NL has been frustrating I feel like I have been getting very unlucky and possibly spewing some
But i've been break even now over the past 3 months, even lost money at 50NL

Running like complete shit, before in December i was at 2.5k and had a 5.5bb/100 hands win rate..

now its time to put in the work on my game and improve

play like a god and run like a god...then no bankroll management is needed and you will be playing with durrrr in no time...if not just grind it out like the rest of us =p and you'll pick things up along the way and don't go busto is best advice =)

In the same place as you beastmode, just trying to stay on 50nl, but keep losing on 50nl, having to go down, build it up, then go at it again, done it 3-5 times now kek. Fun though =p

@Raymond:
very rarely bluff at 25nl and below, valuebet and cbet, forget the fancy plays or you'll breakeven forever

hey guys, thanks for the comments. Mariuslol, glad you know the frustration of 50NL too..its been pissing me off lately

And I agree with Starfritz, 25NL is all about just your hole cards...opponents there cannot think beyond seeing their own cards so fancy plays or 3bet bluffs..or bluffs in general won't be effective or useful at all. Its all value-betting in 25NL, and keeping a tight preflop range of hands
