This is my first post!

I'll keep track of my attempts to become decent at Omaha here. This is my first attempt to maintain a bankroll. I have 7.8k hands of PLO5 logged so far. PLO5 games on Stars are deep stacked ($10 buyins), but hopefully that doesn't affect my play in higher stakes with smaller buyins. My goal is to get to $400 then move up to PLO10. Sitting at $140, long way to go.

<b>Hands:</b>

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/791078 - Gotta get this all in given stack sizes I think.

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/791082 - I only have second nuts, but I felt like this was ok to get all in.

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/791084 - Villian stack size obligates me to raise/fold, surprised to find myself slight favorite.

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/791093 - Interesting hand, as the villian I would probably go all in here too. The higher end of villian's OESD is negated by my higher draw which probably accounts for the odd difference.

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/791097 - Villian is a fish, I was expecting a set.

<b>Results:</b>

735 hands
<font color=green>+$6.52</font>
17.7bb/100

<b>Summary:</b>

Overall I'm happy with my play. I do play too tight compared to what various online forums have suggested, and even though I've been trying to 3bet more / play more hands, my sessions have me at 19/10 with very little std dev. I'm not confident with 2/3 barreling, I will probably lose a couple buyins experimenting with my reads.

<b>Graph:</b>

The sudden $20 drop at around 3.2k hands was due to some tilt that lasted exactly 2 hands. Even with those hands I'm at a good 16bb/100, without them I would be at 21bb/100. Hope I can keep it up.

omaha is more fun for me, plus holdem is getting oversaturated with skillful people so its harder to be profitable. or rather, i'd be more profitbale at omaha than holdem while playing at same skill level
