So basically I just started playing poker for cash monday. Before that i was doing Play Money for a little bit off and on, but I've come from rts games (like other big poker players), looking for something new. I'd consider myself a pretty big fish. I want to learn this game, but having struggles.

So I started at .01/.02 micro stakes, had off and on sessions, mainly i'd just start slacking and be like "eh he probably has this, but screw it call anyway"... Didn't go so well.

Here has been my past few days. I figured I would give rush poker a shot since it seemed like a cool thing, i was up $1 then lost it all.

I had that exact same "screw it I call" attitude when I first started too, and it was a huge leak for me. I bet you'd break even at least if you simply plugged that one leak.

@ slithe yeah, after realizing that it really wasn't helping me and just hurting my money, i'm gonna truly stop it.

I still want to play rush though, i find normal cash games too slow haha.

rush will probably make u develop bad habits unless u want to become a rush player i guess

i think if you just started you should multitable instead of rush cause you will learn more about stats and players. Rush souds good but sounds like people are eighter super nits or EXTREMELY over aggro, since no table image they can abuse of it.
GL tho!

So many fish but so little time to go fishing!

Aight thanks man!

About mutli-tabling.

I have tried it before, gone up to 3 tables max, but just couldn't handle it. When I'd have to make a move on 3 seperate tables at the same time... It was like shoot me. I ended up timing out to calling a AKs on the pre flop. Any advice on multi tabling? I have my TV I can hook up to my computer, so that can work as my second monitor

And also I feel I am miles behind on stats, lingo, overall things like that. I understand what nuts, utg, bb, that stuff, its the Pokertracker software, all those numbers and %s, "proper" cbet & 3betting... the list goes on
