(Kinda Copying Gsr_integra's post)
Anyone go to Rutgers? Or in the NJ area? I am based in Edison (Home of teh Tom Dwan and the late Brittnay Murphy).
Anyway I am mostly looking to improve my poker game. Since I don't know anyone in real life who has any interest in poker, I thought it might be worth taking a shot to "Network" through LP.

My friend goes to rutgers. He says there are a lot of games going on. Even some with dealers+rake (obviously). I think it goes up to 1/2, maybe higher but I'm not sure. |

Haha what about you switch places with your friend and teach me how to beat NL 10 for $15/hour.
Anyway, I am by no means rolled to play 1/2 Live. But I am looking to find ways to improve // someone I could learn from.
Was hoping itd be an LPer though, as I would imagine just randomly asking your friend for poker advice would probably be odd thing to do. |

Hmm yeah. Couple of my friends go to NYU. No one ever wants to make the commute in either direction usually.
I'd kill for advice from someone playing Midstakes tbh...but realistically, very far away as you said. If you decide ever to take any students in the future ever, I'd def be interested. |

might wanna start working on the br
I'm sure you can find some nickel dime games or .10/.2 games though. just look around on facebook |

Yeah I know what you mean. The 1/2 Games in most Atlantic City casinos were really easy to beat, with even less poker knowledge than i have now. But I feel like online = frontier of poker. And regardless of short term payout, the long term life +EV thing to do is master online poker. |
