Hi,
So I've been playing poker for the last 16 months or so, but never ever encountered such a big downswing during that period... My confidence in my game now is like zero. I wonder if such things happens once in a while and are considered standard or im doing something wrong...
any thoughts appriciated

you sure it's all downswing? I'm no expert, but when you're down 10bi, isn't it really smart to analyze ur hands/play, post hands, get feedback, and make sure you're playing good? And not continue till it's really bad

hardcore man sorry. im trucking through a 120k hand downswing myself; mostly at nl100 but moved down to nl50 after about 70k. probably further under EV than most NL100 player's entire rolls.
advice is to just read a lot and look over your game really heavily. so far the downswing actually forced me to learn so much i never would have otherwise if it never happened... so just try to break every now and then for a week or two and concentrate on studying. |
