Been playing RUSH poker for the past few days and its been kind've a shitfest
Was up quick the first 1-2 days, probably up around 5 buy-ins or so at 50NL 6max

I was playing very agressive, 3betting a shitload, open raising with hands like A5 suited, 89 suited from early/middle position, raising 100% of the time from the CO or button..

then i started to play TOO loose..calling 3 bets with Ax suited, Q10s hell even almost all pocket-pairs
pissed away all of that, probably lost around 8 buy-ins or so... sickening. was trying to bluff everybody with almost all my hands

REALIZATION:
I need to stop thinking that I have to "outplay every opponent and win every raised pot"
i realized I started playing a lot of "junk" hands to try to get lucky and "exploit" the nits but i just ended up fuckin myself over by 3 barrel bluffs, being involved in big pots OOP with minimal hands
Play smart and aggressive, choose to make big pots when I have a big draw/big hand
Win and KEEP the pots small when I need to, these situations arise more commonly than the big pots

one mistake I know I make is that Im always trying to bully over players and shit hits the fan when i'm OOP and i start bluffing away my chips HU
Playing like that I go into huge swings where I'll be sitting deep stacked (+3 buyins) then proceed to lose my profit over maybe 2 hands and then go up huge again and bluff away half of it, etc...

Gotta start choosing better spots to make plays and I'm still playing too many hands,

NEED TO IMPROVE: i c-bet nearly 100% of the time, must vary it in with checks when i miss the flop and checks when I hit the flop

Tried to make adjustments today and start myself "fresh" since I spewed away most of my profits back down to 1k now. I'm adopting the mentality that I'm starting over again at 50NL since 1k is what you need to play this stake.

Vary it on rush poker? People don't keep reads/notes on you, tables change every hand. No need to

I think in general on Rush the best tactic is just to play really, really straight forward post. Huge amount of nits who play 11/10 or something like that and they always have something when they call the flop and they rarely fold low pocket pairs to three barrels. So really just alot of thin value betting in good spots and being super loose pre. I DSed about 20 BI's playing rush simply because I tried to barrel everyone all the time, call like every 3bet etc. People just never really 3bet me light at all. Maybe once in 7-8 times or so, but that's just ridic low. Ended up calling one street and folding the turns in almost every 3bet pot.

Keep it simple with rush, atleast at 50nl

If 1K is your entire online roll, I wouldnt be playing rush. I'd think you need more like 50BI's for that game, and thats for a second roll on the side. You're playing readless blind poker, thats gonna be variance heavy no matter what.

bye now
