wondering if anyone plays turbo HU SNGs on stars and how partnering in 4 mans would work. If one of the partners wins the shootout, would they just transfer half the winnings over?

it's probably collusion, but apart from that i think it only helps your variance and not really your ev

Browsing through your hand histories makes me wonder that you might not be aware these games are possibly play money. Have you ever tried to cash out? - KapolLast edit: 27/01/2010 06:23

And no, its not just variance, it helps your EV(assuming both players are +EV)

Interesting that this is not seen as colluding. I do not see how it is not. I mean if 2 people are grinding these 4man sngs, and splitting profits, you are increasing your winrate significantly. I really do not see how this is not seen as an unfair advantage and how it is fair on the opposition.

I am a degen. Do not believe in any of my advice.

i heard it's not colluding because the partners are not gaining anything from the partnership. They are essentially putting up 2 buy-ins to win the shootout. I think it's mostly to cut down on variance.

there's a thread at 4 w/ stars' support's emails explaining why
the other players on the sng don't have a disavantage at all

this would contradict the fact that it is not -EV for the other players
