no 3g is wrong, they will have multiple version with of course hspa modul.

Its not supposed to be a superior laptop at all.
Apple already has plenty of laptops. They don't need to make another one.

It doesn't have a keyboard because you wouldn't use it to write a report. It doesn't have a camera because its not a camera...

ITS NOT A COMPUTER. When you buy an ipod you don't expect it to do anything but play music right?

Its primary purpose is to serve content. That's it. It does the things that people do all the time more conveniently.

Why does it serve content better than a laptop?
Because it was designed that way from the ground up. Apple made a new CPU just for this and the result is that this is the fastest mobile CPU on the market. Read this for more info:

Lastly, the Kindle is selling very well. Why do people like to use the kindle to read books but they hate doing it on a laptop? Because its easier and more convenient.
But the kindle is very limited compared to the Ipad and it costs $500 for the DX.

If Apple can get GOOD, FAST content available like they have done with the App store for the iphone then this device will work. Count on it.

"most of the statements" might have been exaggerated but:
it does have 3G
its not supposed to be a superior laptop, its stupid thinking it is
i personally havent used a webcam since I was 12 and can only see it useful for businessmen having video conference
it has a very responsive onscreen keyboard according to people who have tried it and if thats not good enough there's a stand you can buy with a keyboard built in. think about it, if this thing had an actual keyboard, it would just be another laptop.
you can listen to the iPod while using everything else on the iPhone so I don't see why they would limit the iPad? are you sure about this? I havent heard anything so I can't really comment. if its true then yes, its flat out retarded.
no, the iPhone OS isnt great. it does however do the things you'd want a table to do.
the 64GB flashdrive is plenty for me, I don't plan on replacing either of my computers with this thing, and you're not supposed to.
they're in talks with EA if I'm not mistaken, Gameloft also plan on developing games suited for the tablet so there'll be some good titles out in the future I imagine. PapiJump is king btw!
its perfect for watching movies on the train etc. which is the only time I ever use my laptop for just that.
yea its pretty horrible they dont have handwriting recognition, but I'm almost sure its coming in a future version.

its not trash, it'll get better though I imagine with the new versions, just like the iphone.
