He has 900 posts so I dont want to accuse him of scamming me just yet. About 2 weeks ago I transferred him $568 on FTP and was supposed to receive the same amount via cake. I never received the money and he said he emailed support to find out why. He hasnt contacted me in over a week, I have sent him 3 pm's during that time.
I was asking for a transfer of $1500 and he replied saying he only had $568 which seems very odd if he was planning on scamming me. What do you guys think? Do any of you have a history with this member?

Hmmmm I did a transfer with him a few months ago with no problems. He sent 250, I sent 500, and he sent 250 afterwards. No problems quick and easy.
He wanted another a few days ago and I said I'd help him out. I said "you first okay?" He didn't say anything afterwards. I thought it was weird and thought maybe he was trying to scam me. I looked at his PTR and noticed that he spewed some $ at 5.10. I decided to not say anything and brushed it off because nothing really happened. Maybe guy just got money elsewhere or changed his mind and forgot to tell me? Not enough info to actually say that he was scamming or even really infer that he wanted to.

I remember doing a transfer with him for <1k that worked out fine. Split transfers of <250 iirc, like Maynard, which in retrospect is always a good idea when transfering with new people.
I have no other info, but thought I'd add something.
