A few question for you live grinders out there I live in Henderson, NV and been playing online poker for a few years I just turned 21 and wanted to know if you guys had any advice or tips for me because I want to start playing live my questions:

What would be a good bankroll for 1/2 or 2/5?
What casinos would be the best to play at?
Which days are the best to play there?

I hear Teddy KGB's game is pretty good, a bit of travel involved though

it depends on how hard you beat the game, but to be safe i'd want to have like 4-5k to play 1-2 if the game is capped at like 300 or w/e and when you get to 7-8k you're fine to move up as long as you move back down when you get to 5ish K again. 1/2 im sure is easy any where so just wherever's closest to you. 2/5 is probably good at like Venetian and the Wynn, both of those poker rooms are nice, Bellagio's a little crowded for the lower stakes stuff but once you get to like 5/10+ sometimes it's the only place you can find action.

I would suggest grinding really hard until the WSOP so you have a roll to play or at least take shots at 5/10 and just play as much during the summer as you can and you should have a comfortable 5/10 roll by the end of the summer and maybe even enough to take a shot at the main event. gl

And there are easy 1/2 games at Planet Hollywood, MGM (if you don't get a table of nits - if you do just move) - well everywhere really but I think PH has the best mix of ease of competition and comfort that I've found.

this... but you could probably lower your br requirements for 1/2 since it's so soft. just make sure you're not sitting at a nitty table
