Looks like i made alot of shitty river calls but I folded to these river shippers so much my redline's disapearing off the bottom of my fucking graph, apparently they mustve had the goods every single fucking time.

alot of these are player specific, it'd help if you'd highlight the mistakes i make rather than telling me not to whine after i run this bad for like half my fucking BR

Be thankful you've got a donk as bad as pappasharri at your tables. I only looked at the first 4 or 5 hands and he played absolutely pathetically, calling flops with nothing and calling turns with only gutshot outs.

Sure, it's frustrating when these donks suck out on you but it happens. Reload and hunt them down day after day. Their suckouts won't last forever.

Also, with players that are calling with nothing you should make bigger than normal bets and make them pay.

The problem is, I run into those 100VPIP idiots every night and they seem to only call down w/ air when they'll river it. Not once have I played a significant pot vs any of these 100VPIP where I actually had the best hand at showdown. I'm sure they do go busto playing like morons, but they do so against other regs who'll never donate that money back to me as easily as the fish wouldve.

The hands I posted aren't some select beats spread far apart. All of these are from my last 2 sessions and are basically 75% of my losses, I didnt feel like putting KK/QQ running into AA or races but besides that, those are all the big pots I lost, including those which are misplayed. I mean I'd understand getting berated for some of those calls then whining if this was from a 20k hand sample and I picked some gay river catches, hell, I'd rather lose pfai AA vs 75 than having 75 calling down pot sized bets to the river then hitting the miracle gutshot. That's just so fucking hard ... Like, just shove flop if you want to gamble, I'll take the gutshot with a smile when it hits then, that shit happens. But fucking calling down to catch and then doing so in every pot against me? Fuck I hate those people, they make me think that this shit is fucking rigged. How many times can you runner runner me without me holding? I know that mathematically speaking they could do it 100 times, but then I'd probably be the legitimate unluckiest poker player ever...

Even better maybe once in a while I should hit my 75% probability of not losing. If I don't luckbox run standard soon I don't see how I can justify dumping 40-80 hrs a month on poker... Shit is so frustrating, you spend hours grinding and improving, building a BR from scratch (25$ in my case) up to about 1k USD, moving up stakes slowly and finally passing the fuckfest that is NL2, NL4 and NL10, just to lose almost 40% of it in 2 days... All of those here who play poker either for a living or enough for it to be a major part of your life know how much you need to sacrifice in terms of social relations, hobbies, sometimes even work or school. This shit is just so gutting, I feel fucking empty, I feel dumb, I feel like all I've learned in poker is useless and I'm not even at midstakes yet ... I never seem to bluff the right guys, whatever I bet is never enough to fold stations before they catch and then by that time I'm priced to call their river bets .... I overthink most situations and cost myself a ton of money hero calling with what I believe to be the best hand. I bet into passive fucks who just flatcall me to the river, thinking i have the best hand, only to be reraise on my value bet on the river...

H5: Again, probably should c/f river on this board, but then he can just bet bet and shove any dangerous board and I'd be forced to fold (it looked like thats what he was doing, since he called or bet almost every flop/turn then shoved river in pots he was in)
H6: Sick cooler, at least I broke even since the guy with aces and myself had 100bb and the luckbox with kings only 50bb, so still took the side pot
H7: tia is another 100VPIP clown, again he hits the miracle gutshot on the river after calling 2/3 pot bets on 2 streets w/ 3rd pair, I put him on a jack, but that was before I realize this guy would play the instruction cards and the jokers if they were in the deck.
H8: Just sick. kazzen is a fucking nit according to the stats I have, so I'm guessing I'm never seeing a dime of that money again, dunno how he'd even flip for stacks here, again another hand I got in fairly good (on this board, without knowing his cards, I don't think it should be played any differently)
H9: The deck is just getting colder, bet pot on flopped flush in a limped pot, guy has 2 pairs then ofc turns a full house to make sure he'll take my whole stack, dunnot if i can ever get away from this
H10: Do you call river bet here? I checked because any T or 2 diamonds have me beat, but still called the small river bet (as usual with aces, the board is fucking retarded and guy with Kd7d calls down and hits againnnn) I bet 2/3 pot so he wouldnt be getting odds to draw, still called, fml
H11: KK vs AK, yep, 3-outered for another stack.
H12: flop bottom set, get flat called on 3 streets after villain turns the nut straight (yeah thats right, he did not reraise the river while holding the stone cold nuts .... amazing, these are the people I lose to ....) oh well, at least now I know that playing 89o OOP against a UTG raiser is +EV. /sarcasm
H13: Well, I can't call any river anymore after the previous hands ... Amazing what coolers, bad beats and the coldest deck will do to you. In retrospect I think he probably had AK and decided to float on this board, I'm glad I checked the river because if I had bet 1/2 to 2/3 pot I was somewhat priced in to call his reshove... (which is also a spot I get into way to much)
