switzerland takes it to OT, costing the cowardly canadian a point.
pretty unreal how tilted and lost the canadians are. they are doing chippy things all over the ice. reminds me of the spoiled fat brat who isn't getting his chocolate cake. swiss are just killing them with class and workin them as best they can on the ice.
truly entertaining.
also, on an unrelated note. canadians also do dominate online poker as far as im concerned. many of the best regs at all stakes seem to be canadian (kind of interestin in and of itself if you ask me, given their overall small population).
the games get noticeably better while these games are on (imo) and are softer in general i presume due to many regs watching the olympics. sucks i'm leaving this weekend for them, ill probably miss out on some pretty good games.

Canada played a lousy game. If I was one of the teams coaches I would have lost my shit. Absolutely way too much cute bullshit with the puck, not hard enough on the puck, not intense enough, and downright stupidly lazy half the time. It was like watching the 1st period of the Norway game for 3 periods. Frustrating and annoying to watch them continue to try stupid little soft passes through the clearly active and well positioned sticks of the systematic Swiss team. All they had to do was get to the red line, dump the puck soft, and hit the hell out of them while hammering the puck on goal at every opportunity and this is a 10-0 game. The cutesy bullshit made me want to vomit.
If Canada...
1. Hammer the puck on goal at every opportunity.
2. Forechecks like monsters and establishes a punishing physical game.
3. Is hard and heavy on the puck in all three zones
4. Is aggressive in all three zones
Then we will run over everybody except maybe the Russians who I think will give us a run for our money.
Ranking of Teams:
1. Canada
2. Russia
3. Sweden
4. USA
USA will not win though. USA basically sucks donkey balls. No chance in hell.

If they do their first period retardation like they did first 2 games Russia would have 4 goals in teh first 5 min. At least USA isn't super offensively talented but they will still make Canada pay for playing liek that.
