Led by members of the greatest hockey organization on the face of the planet (the New Jersey Devils), the second greatest hockey organization on the face of the planet (Team USA) defeated our noble northern neighbors today.

Canada was the better team and it wasn't close. They dominated the Americans for 60 minutes. Miller was great, and Brodeur sucked. In one game toss-up's the weaker team sometimes sucks out and wins.
I also feel very strongly that being on home soil the officials are afraid to give Canada PP's for fear of looking biased. I don't know how it's possible to play basically the entire game with the puck in the other teams zone and not get 10-12 PP's. So many obvious calls ignored. I think this is most strongly highlighted by the fact that the Canadians were only "allowed" to have a PP once the game was 4-2 for the Americans. It was finally "okay" to not look biased by actually doing their fucking job and making the calls that should have been getting made against the Americans all game long. Disgraceful.
