Guilt, regret, resentment, grievances, sadness,
bitterness, and all forms of non-forgiveness are caused by too much past, and not
enough presence.
Whenever you feel your brain is thinking of the past, drag yourself to here and now, because suffering can't work right here, right now, only in your mind, if you're in the past, or in the future.
Ask yourself: Is there joy, ease, and lightness in what I
am doing? If there isn't, then time is covering up the present moment, and life is
perceived as a burden or a struggle.
