Been on a nasty slide over the past 2 days. Not a lot of money, but lost 10 buy-ins, but only about 2 from tilt at the most.
Should I perhaps take a break from poker for a couple days to a week? Or do you guys believe in the grinding it out strategy if you are still playing somewhat well?
Not trying to bitch or anything, just wondering

grind it out if youre playing well. just make sure youre being honest with yourself about how youre playing. |

Just ride it through. The more you think about it, the more it will upset you to tilt you. If you are below EV, don't think like, "oh today, the EV will make up".
It doesn't work like that. It's just part of the game, what can you do. |

Personally I feel all outside forces affect us internally. I dont care if I lose with AA four times aipf, it will probably carry over and affect how I play suited connectors and other hands which require more intimate thought process. So given that, I always opt for the break. I play better when I'm in a better mood, thats a fact. I dont want anything influencing my play. |

play less tables, and lower stake that you play. Try to think about the game not about the money. |

stop when on tilt - no other way to deal with it or reduce it. works 100% some people dont tilt so its not too bad to play through it. when u stop asap when on tilt you dont get into a bad mood IRL, when tilt transcends to your real life mood then you will def lose a lot more in the next coming sessions |
