SO some guy convinced me that I'd rather buy Grant's instead of Jamesons as "drinking whiskey" for dinner before we try to more expensive kinds. Is this in fact enough grounds to kill him or do I need to determine that his choice of Schottish > Irish is in fact grounded in some kind of immoral belief that something could be better then that Irish guy in the wire?
fiwiwwwi it doesn't taste that bad, the only difference except some taste issues are that I can't seem to feel good about sitting around waiting for guests,d rinking whisekeyey and singing along iwth the dublinners in "Hwhiskey in the jar".
I sort of wish I never drank whiskey the first time I got drunk.
I haven't been able to drink it since, and probably never will...
On the other hand, I ordered 6-7 bottles of more exclusive red wines from system bolaget yesterday - ah the joy. I'm really looking forward to them coming next week!

I dont drink much whiskey but Jamesons is fuckin delicious.

Wtf is going on, and why is no one suggesting single malts? Blended is nothing compared to most 12yrs. And Jack Daniels? :o
Having the issue settled, I do think that jameson is superior to the other blended, but Tullamore Dew is a close second.
Dusty, I had reunion with my bandy-team yesterday. Will not write the stupid stuff I did when I got home, but it involved throwing up in the sink, passing out with the tap on and the bottom plugged, having the sink "flooded" and forcing my father to clean it up :S Needless to say, today was not a good day for anything.

You should check out Bushmills. Its a whiskey from Northern Ireland where I live. It is very nice
