Pretty decent, but I feel you will get much better value buying single parts

get yourself one of these

Barebone kit

and one of these

Sapphire Radeon HD 5770 1GB Vapor-X Ed. DDR5 PCIe

or any other vid card that u like
and you got yourself a beast

totally agree with Carthac

For an office PC the value is okayish ...
U said u want to play SC2 with that pc though?

improvement ideas

CPU
AMD is okayish allthough an AMD Athlon II X3 435, 2,90 GHz is significantly faster (26% in modern games compared tp the IIX2 240) and only 10$ more expensive if u buy single parts.

Next thing is the grafic card.

NVIDIA GeForce G210 is as bad as it can get for gaming. NOT one single game of 2009 and 2010 will run on that shit faster than 12fps (unplayable)
U can try to grab an old Geforce 9600 GT for like only 60$ which is on average 81% faster !!!!

I am sure with exchanging these 2 parts alone u can build a similar computer for 600bucks that is twice as fast easily and also can play some games from time to time-...

BTW u wont be able to play SC2 on a G210 Geforce
It simply is too slow except on lowest details where it may run with 20fps/s

U see what i did there with A8 ? He 4 bets and there we go insta jam A8 : ---booooom -- . hahahaha ( Krantz)Last edit: 10/04/2010 17:05

You should step up the graphics card and cpu, maybe look into getting an i5, the graphics card mentioned above is sufficient but not great. Almost everything mentioned is now considered lower standards for a new pc, but for 600$ I guess you can't go too wrong with it.
