Safe Movie Torrent Sites?

What do u mean by safe? - won't get caught 100% or you know you'll get the movie without any trojans or other bs?

get usnet...the few bucks a month are so worth it. always full speed + everything you need (movies, series, mp3s, games,...)
oh and obviously you dont need to share stuff = you dont need to worry about getting caught as nobody cares about you downloading stuff only.

I've been virused by tpb twice. Not by the torrents but by the site. Kaspersky missed both, so I've just blocked it completely.

All of these download files have backdoor trojans and spyware and crap like that. It's unavoidable. It's not the site that matters and it's not like anyone would waste their time moderating that kind of crap to make sure the DL's were safe. Thousands of files uploaded every day by strangers so the viruses are in there whether you like it or not.

That's why I choose not to download anymore. I just watch stuff on stream and there are plenty of those sites available. Otherwise have a junk computer that you don't mind reformatting once and a while and use that for the movie DL's.

I usually just check out the comments to see what the ratio of virus claims are to non-virus claims. There's always some bozo with Norton or nothing at all claiming said file has a virus. Maybe it's stupidity, maybe it's a false positive, maybe it's actually MPAA interns posting false shit to cast doubt on the system. Regardless, if 1 guy says there is a virus but 1000 say theres not, I'll usually go for it.

Good thing about movies is that the arent a good vector for viruses. There arent a lot of exploits in media player or powerDVD or whatever you use that a simple audio-video-interlace can infect. Games and software suites are your biggest risk of infection, installing hundreds to thousands of files with multiple executables and .dll's and so forth.

Anyway I use a site called torrentpond. It's a torrent search engine hitting about 20 good torrent sites. Some on the MPAA's radar, some not. They all have comment sections so I never fail to find what I'm looking for, and I've never once encountered a trojan.

I use demonoid most of the time but if your ISP offers usenet, thats a great way to download things anonymously and quickly. A lot of pirated movies hit the newgroups before they hit the torrents. I think that's why you see so many newly released movies still all RARed up.

its not torrents, but you can find pretty much everything. good for watching tv shows too. always in HD as well. the problem is its rapidshare links and you have to dl in two parts usually which require you to wait sometimes.
