I have a freind with 1.5k roll he has 18% roi
he asked me what sng he whould play? he actually play 11$ sng
what are the rules for this??

get him to play anything from 9/18/27/45/180 mans and see what 1 he feels comfortable with?

I think he meant what buy-in to play, but I guess that depends on the size of the sample. I'm not good with BRM though, so I don't really know.

depends on his samplesize, but if he really is beating 11$ for 18% ROI he can move up to the 20$ imo

Yeah 180 mans can have insane variance. How many games is his sample size over? I think you need more than 100 BI for those, I've heard of some insane variance in them. But as long as he's monitoring his BR I think it's ok to keep playing them with his 1500 roll, but definitely safer to move to a lower buy-in like $3-$6 range, depending on how many tables he is playing at a time, etc.
