you have to get a medical marijuana card which is basically just a matter of paying some money. I haven't gotten mine yet but lots of the dispensaries have someone on staff who is certified to give out the cards. So you go to the dispensary, talk with some dude and fill out some papers, pay some money and then get a card in the mail. And a lot of the guys that give out the card are trying to find any reason to give you one - oh, you've had headaches? you need a card! your back hurts from sitting at the desk all day? let's get you a card! |

yeah gsr, that's how it was for a bit here in CO. Denver passed a law that weed was to be put on the bottom of the list of laws to enforce - ie, if a cop saw someone jay walking and someone smoking a joint, the priority would be to go after the jay walker. And if you have less than 1/8th on you and get caught supposedly it's only a small fine (or even just a warning). |
