In late 2009 I had like 100k hands at nl100 running ~3bb, then i took a break for a few months. Just 3 weeks ago I started playing again and im playing like total shit. I dont know if its tilt, but im spewing atleast 2 BIs a session on retarded bluffs and stuff. I dont know what to do, im losing so much confidence, I dont evem know if im a winner anymore at nl100.
Do you guys think I should move down? if so, for how long? I know im a winner at nl50 for sure -_- its supper easy, but i become a monkey when playing nl100. I tried cutting down my tables, im playing 9 now, I usually play 12-13.
idk what to do, should I maybe get a coach?
I cant help but do stupid stuff like this, I know its all REALLY bad lol. but I dont stuff like this alot lately
this was just stupid of me, i hate playing ak oop so much

err i know what my mistakes are most of the time, and a coach wont help me with tilt. I guess im just venting, i'll move down and play like ~15k hands at nl50
I play like 22/19 at FR, I think that has to do alot of my tilting. Since I play looser than most I always think regs are 3betting me lite and stuff like that. I dont know if I should tighten up, I been playing like this for a long time. |

i dunno man, whenever I'm tilting like this, moving down only makes it worse, b/c now it's less money and I'm more apt to try more dumb shit. The only thing I can ever do is just pause for a moment, take a breather, and just demand of myself to play straight up ABC. I dont care if I see any spots to squeeze or iso or whatever, I just chill out, play the cards in relation to the board, and try to let the best hand win it rather than my ego. Just all comes down to simple discipline really. Just play like you were taught when you first started. Ditch the ace rags, limp the SC's, limp the small-medium PP's, dont even bother stealing for a few orbits, etc etc. |

I think all the hands are missplayed, I hope I'm not affected by you saying you play like shit. But they do look very bad in my eyes.
the first AK hand, obviously the 3b is fine and super standard, it's ugly board, but since so much dead money in the pot, a Half pot / little over half is smart, to remove equity from hands you've got beat, and to maybe get a small pair to fold, but when/if he calls, what can you beat ? And if someone did call on a board like that, they gonna call more on later streets for sure. I think it's easy fold once re raised. Unless specific read, or the guy shoves often as bluff or something.
Next hand A8 depends a lot of the table dynamic, but if the guy is just standard tight, and you guys haven't done a lot of 3b 4b light, this is spew, also alarm bells should go of when people min rr a 3b. Easy fold, or call to spike an check call let him bluff at it, play rly conservative or something along those line. Looks like spew this too.
Next hand, super spew lol, unless some sick read. You raise UTG, and a guy from the Big Blind 3b you, people who 3b from BB to UTG have a VERY narrow range almost always, people never do it as a bluff, and even if you thought this player was capable of doing that, or you think he might have AK and not a pair higher than urs, do a 4b, don't make it so large, good size maybe 2,5x his, and then fold to a shove. But I'd fold in this spot almost always, unless some specific read. |
